Yeah, I agree - a thread with vintage ads would be a lot of fun!

    Razor: Schick L1 injector
    Brush: Omega 10049 boar
    Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with Fine American Blend aftershave, Nivea sensitive balm

Fat Friday! Smooth and easy shave with the Schick L1. I love all the Schicks that I have. Such great little razors. They're not too mild for me and are always comfortable. The Fat was terrific as usual.

    Have a great FRIDAY!

Who knew? A trimmed Proline AC injector blade in the MMOC did a fabulous job on the head shave, baby dolphin butt smooth with no weeping but for the jealous dolphins. You might want to have a nurse present if you try this but it worked for me. Likewise the Shovelhead (square tooth) with fresh shimmed GEM did itself proud beardwise. Happy Friday.

I like The General head design, but find it works for me with a heftier handle. A superb Shave today.

Beautiful shave with the round tooth Shovelhead. Just a little touch up on the back of my head using the Shake Sharp where the Shovelhead struggled a bit. The Proline in the MMOC seemed to have dulled some after yesterday's head shave. If that's typical then not really worth the trouble. Will see if another AC type holds up better. [IMG]

I decided to get back on the SE train for a while. In preparation for my new Black Hawk that's waiting in the wings I decided to go back to my GEM 1912. I had forgotten how easy and smooth these razors are! That with my Whipped Dog Silvertip and my first TOBS cream led to a great shave.

The schick C3 never ceases to amaze me. It has the perfect blade gap making it highly efficient without being harsh. Its in near mint condition and looks pretty freaking cool too:D

    Beard: Valet Autostrop VC1/Gem
    Head: Schick E2/Plus Platinum

Fans' favorite: Early E2. Sucker takes no prisoners. I know some say their G shaves comparably to the E, for me they are not in the same ballpark, not this E2.

Side note: The toothbrush moustache had to have been an Autostrop plot.
