Very good shave of the evening. Had almost 4 days of growth, the MMOC took care of it with ease in 3 passes. And man I love this little shim I've made. Just two used injector blades that I purposely dulled for safety stacked and glued together. Seems to be the perfect amount of shim for me.

First shave with my Newley squired razor. Using a de-spined SE blade. Interesting little razor. It is a keeper.

Above average shave today .... 2nd shave on the modern Japanese twin blade, using a schick type N. With the amazing slickness from kiss my face . I got bbs "Dolphin" finish.

 

Nice find - first time I've seen one of those.

 

I have seen a few. They are sold under a few names. Globe is one I have seen. I think you could have them made with your store name in the box and possibly the blade holder.

I am surprised by the shim in this one. The double sided MM blade which was made just for these models had no spine at all. I usually think there is no point in a shim at all. Seems like even less point with the OCMM.

 

There might be a difference between the bump equipped and bumpless versions.

I need to remember to look through the several I have and see if I have both. I have never noticed.

 

Presumably ASR must have thought the bumps were necessary to maintain proper angle with the double edge blades. I only have the bumpless version so can't compare.

I Agree the N with a Twin Blade is awesome, for me Shaves better than the Schick Adjustable. Shame so hard to find an N. Am still looking for one for a friend.
