    Razor: "Schick Safety Razor" J-type
    Blade: Chick (3)
    Brush: 30DC LE/Pure Badger
    Cream: Simpsons Luxury
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

Going into today's shave, I was a little worried about the blade. I had spent some time yesterday reversing some of the yellowing of the handle and was afraid that the process might have damaged the edge. I needn't have worried, though, as the shave was smooth and effective. Actually, it may have been the best of the three so far with this combo. A great shave from this refugee from the Eisenhower era.

09/04/2017 - I turned to a forgotten injector in my collection - a type G with a weird color handle? anybody seen this? was it marketed as a lady razor? but it has been a while I have used a G or E - and with the Personna 74 blade on its 4th shave I was a little to cocky and carless - I got a few weepers due to being sloppy - but the alum took care of it - still a great shave.

As no one else has chimed in to answer I believe it is a G5 but the spots make me wonder.

    Proraso Pre Shave
    Palmolive Classic Shaving Cream
    B 400 by Tom
    GEM 1912
    CVS SE
    CWR
    Thayer's Lemon WH
    Barbasol AS

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Palmolive Classic Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the B 400 badger brush by Tom. I did the two passes with the GEM 1912 and CVS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Schick E2 today for a nice shave. I use this razor on days when I have more than a day's worth of growth. It's a different animal than my other Schicks. Put in a new Chick blade today and ended with a nice, smooth shave. Really enjoyable.

    Have a great day!

The aggressiveness between the Schick L1 and PAL IM are vastly different, and very apparent when you shave with them back to back. Lots more blade feel and efficiency with the PAL. Kept a light touch yesterday and was rewarded with a BBS smooth shave after two passes and a little touch up.

Had an awesome shave this morning with my Schick Adjustable and a twin blade. I had a 3-day growth and all I can say is "Oh my God!". I could feel a little resistance from the blades, not tugging, more like mowing down the stubble. 2 1/2 pass BBS (notice I have the razor cranked up high!). THANKS to Vince for the PIF of the twin blades! What a beautiful shave!

Love the look of that custom handle. Very nice. First time I've seen a 1912 dressed up like that. :eatdrink047:
