So little of SEptember left! To make the most of it I moved on to the wedge razors. This Henkel Rapide is new to me. I've had it for well over a year but never got to it as I fell into the straight razor hole along the way. :) Not a favorite of either @twhite or @Billyfergie so I had low expectations which were easily exceeded. Ended up with a face-rubbing worthy shave. A little harsher than some. It has a limited sweet spot that likes a flat angle. At that point it does a wonderful job. :happy088:

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The L'OCCITANE Cade Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #206 badger brush. I did just one pass with the Igor SE Razor by Tom and a CVS SE blade because that is all I needed. I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Brush: Omega 10049 boar
    Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat

I1 injector this morning. Probably needed a blade change as it was not quite as smooth as it could be. But overall nice results. I'll change out the blade and have a new one for next time.

    Have a great day!

I didn't shave last night, but I saw an N injector and pella blade loader in use at a plumbing customer's house! It gave me a big smile to start my Friday. I know I've been lazy about the pics@Linuxguile;)

Today I pulled my soap-shredder to task as yesterdays lather was a bit lacking in protection and I thought it was due to insufficient loading of this soap. I was right. Today the lather was as slick as yesterday but denser and more protective than yesterdays. And the fragrance? Still fantastic.

Stirling Iced Pineapple soap and AS

My last shave of Stirling SEptember and I decided to go back to the setup that gave me one of the smoothest shaves of the month. Once again the shave was spectacular! My face became "comfortably numb" with the Iced Pineapple and the L1 loaded up with the Personna was smooth as silk! Another positive is that my Stirling Board did not shed a single bristle last night, so hopefully its shedding has come to an end. Have a great weekend my friends!

The last 2 days of this month are devoted to my 2 favorite Decanters. I am big fan of Moby Dick the book and movie.
There were six styles of Scrimshaw Decanters sold from 1974 to 1976 (Product ID 3835 or 3838). The bottles sported simulated scrimshaw depicting whaling or sailing imagery. Packaging was clear plastic with the decanter on a silver plastic base. Each decanter held 6 ounces of cologne. Some were sold in gift sets with a scrimshaw soap on a rope.

Pre-shave: 5 cups of black coffee + a hot shower
No brush today... used Nivea Men's Sensitive Shaving Gel, applied by hand
    Razor: Ever-Ready 1912 SE
    Blade: Gem Blue Star (2)
Post-shave: Dickinson's WH, Nivea Sensitive Post-Shave Balm, Shulton Old Spice cologne

Had a lot going on today so originally I wasn't going to shave but then opted for a quick one so I picked up the shave gel by Nivea. I do enjoy that gel. It goes on easily and it's creamy and protective. This is a great razor! Ended up with a close comfortable shave with one nick on my jawline (no idea what I did... didn't notice it right away). Wrapped this shave up with some very old Old Spice which I've had for decades. Awesome.

    Have a great weekend everyone!
