    Jamie's Night Shave...
    1. PRE = PAA CAD lather booster. SOAP = Lather Brothers - El barbero - 1st shave with this artisan - very nice tallow soap, also there take on barbershop scent is different, more like Drakkar cologne for my nose - I Like it.
    2. Semogue 830 - as always this brush is a lather beast.
    3. PERSONNA FLOATING HEAD Injector - this already one of my best injectors - today I used a Twin Blade (JAP Schick II - New) for the 1st time and WOW!! With a twin this may be better than a Schick Type O.
    4. Thayers Extra Cool Witch hazel / MASTER Topaz After Shave
    5. Lather Bros El barber A.S. Balm - very nice balm! it was Thick and also had some menthol cooling going on.

After a few trials have finally settled on a handle that works for me with the General. I have noticed that a lot of folk are no longer using the original handle. Though I never found it slippy, I always felt uncomfortable using it whereas I find I can wield the knurled handle with confidence and precision.

Final SEptember shave today and it was a good one.

I just had to choose a SV 70th anniversary product in order to celebrate Lewis Hamilton's 70th career pole position for tomorrow's Malaysian Grand Prix.

I've really enjoyed shaving with SE's for most of this month and it has really enabled me to get to grips with using injectors, especially my Supply Provision which is fast becoming one of my favourite razors.

    Brush: Vulfix badger
    Lather: Stirling Sandpiper
Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Sandpiper aftershave

PERSONNA FLOATING HEAD INJECTOR - Modern Schick II Blade {2nd shave) - Twin blade is made and sold in Japan, they are the last twin Injector blade to be manufactured. I find them to be just as good as the Vintage twin blades as far as smoothness - not as sharp as the Schick II' twin blades I have from the 1970's..

I love your OS stuff...absolutely love it...
And everytime I see that Old Spice Lime, my heart flip flops! Is that the new Shulton AS from India? Detailed discription Please! The Original OS Lime was a favorite of my Pops and me growing up...If it's half as good I'll order some today!

Today I got an incredible shave with the C.O. Bigelow, and Schick New and Improved....
The oils in this COB tube cream really do a fantastic job of softening my skin..
Got a 3 pass DFS and the skin was SO SOFT!

But I heard the baby crying...So I did a clean up pass with the Artic Chill Barbasol...and Found The Baby!

Heljestrand AOS MNSBS TH AOS.jpeg Last day of SEptember and I reserved it for my Nordic Beauty - the Heljestrand lather catcher. This wedge razor is tops. Smooth with great lines and it gives a wonderful shave with a flatter angle and light touch. When I bought this razor the threads were stripped. @twhite rescued it with some fine machining and it was good as new. :happy036: A perfect way to close out a month of fantastic shaves. :happy093:

    Last Shave of SEptember

    Pre-Shave: Hot Shower
Brush: 24mm Silvertip Frank Shaving (FS)
    Soap: Tobacco, Dirty Deeds
    Razor: 1912, GEM
    Blade: Treet (16) w/ shim
Post-Shave: Cold Water rinse, OSMA Alum block and Oland After Shave, Avon, Pheasant Decanter

Well it's the last shave of SEptember and the last shave with this blade. I have learned a lot this month from my shaves. First, I learned that I can get about 16 shaves from the treet blade. Now I know that 16 shaves is not a great number. Heck I have seen some say that they can get 20 shaves from a blade. For me though it is a bench mark, something to shot for. Second, I learned the proper angle on the early GEM Brooklyn 1912. That I can get a DFS-BBS shave out of it. Third, the shave angle for the early Brooklyn and the 1912 I used today are very different. Both are capable of DFS with out to much trouble.

This was the set up I wanted to do yesterday but grabbed the wrong tub of soap. The Dirty Deeds Tobacco paired well with the Avon Oland. I ordered my Wife some soap from Stirling bath soap. When I did I also picked my self up a block of Alum. I have never tried Alum and across the street some people use them all the time. So I figured I would give it a try. All in all it was a good shave.

Tomorrow starts OC October. I only have two OC razors, a GEM OCMM and a Valet Autostrop. I'm planning on using the Valet mostly to see if using the strop will extend the useful life of a modern carbon blade.
