that brush cost 12.95, it is a monster! It is a replication of a rare ever-ready vintage brush. I highly recommend the Pheonix Artisan Rocket brush. Just a huge brush and it came with a nice package.

Easy shave with the Personna injector this morning. It's quite mild but works well. No complaints! Have a great day!

Halloween season and Old School Heavy Metal !! I am posting SOTD's with some of my Vinyl Records.

Today was the 1924 ever-ready PAL on second shave - still sharp - cleaned it with alcohol and dried it after shave..

    A Tale of Two Razors.
I have found the Schick Proline Type B- AC blade to be so good that I have been trialling it in various Vintage
Injectors.Today I decided to try the Personna, with which I have never had any luck. This light razor feels like it is working, but after numerous passes on my RH cheek, It was obvious that it was not working. Rather a shame that I ever opened up the Minty Package.

To recover the Shave, I rinsed off and carefully hand loaded a fresh blade into a Schick B1. As the blades are thinner than the original one has to be careful to ensure it does not move back off the stops during a shave. The first few strokes were so smooth but incredibly good at eradicating the whiskers.

What an amazing little Razor, the weight of it ensures that one does not use pressure during a Shave. The quality of the Shave and ease which it can be a obtained makes this the best of the Schicks that I have used with a single blade. Probably better than my favoured PAL Injecto-Matic.

Personna injector! I have one as well but had not seen anyone else on TSD use one. Great little razor.

Thank you Doug. There is a little bit of colour loss at a couple of spots. The after shave ain't bad either.

No matter how I try It will not work for me, which Is the first one I have not completed a Shave with.

That's too bad. Bad blade maybe? Mine is a really mild razor. Works great for me with 24 hour growth but I could see how some would think it's too mild.

I remember those Personna Injectors making the rounds around here awhile back...I was thinking you were here then...I guess not, or maybe you've just forgotten....Yep, some really did love these guys and all thought these looked great...

I have to agree with MPF9 on this perticular call...The Schick Repeater can be a formidable opponent...and whiskers often speak of them in hushed tones...My C3 Schick Simplified Automatic is unparalleled at making whiskers disappear; in my Shave-Cave!

And I have recognized the PAL Injecto-matic as a Schick Buster...but I do have several Schicks that consistently deflate that argument....The Hussy, the F TYPE and the aforementioned C3...

No this is my third or fourth try with different blades , I vary the angle do everything I can think of, but though it feels good seems to just float across the whiskers . Only Razor I have not got to work for me.

I think the term "Schick Buster" applies to the latter models G upwards, excluding the H as excluded from that assessment.

10/27/2017 --> Today I went back to my best 1912 ( I have 2 others that sadly are not any good - warped and don't hold blade) Great!! PAL on 4th shave and I used a Custom handle made from "Rod George Designs" he is on Etsy now and he will make u a handle for SE's since there not the same and the patents and brands are wacky- I send him head and he fits it

    Schick J3-Golden 500
    Schick Proline [ 2 ]

Used a Schick J3 today, a type I used in my early Injector days for a Sunday morning Shave. It is very forgiving
but has good blade feel which allows you to assess the progress of a Shave.

With a Proline blade fitted it really performs well, on the cheeks one can carry out nice long and very effective strokes, and the length of handle seems to make it very easy whilst working the neck area. It seems that a Shave can be completed very quickly with this Razor, and the quality of Shave is very pleasing.
