After a few days of Injector Shaves I felt in need of a change. The problem IMHO is that the ease and safety of the Shave with an Injector is almost guaranteed as they are so forgiving, apart from the E2 which is a bit of a handful.
It was really nice to have the heft of the ATT SE 1 in my hand, and very satisfying after the first few strokes to realise how effective a Razor this is.
The Shave just seemed so quick and easy, in part helped by good lather from the soap which I have not used for a while. Realise the lather might not be very dense but allowed the razor to glide around the face. The Shave finish was superb and the there was no need for alum and my skin felt very
refreshed , so use of the Tuff Red was perfect.

This is my shave this morning but was the basic setup for the past weekend as well. The only difference was the after shave I used. Sunday I used a different bottle of Avon Oland AS that was in a bulldog pipe decanter. After I put it on I realized that the aftershave in the bottle had gone bad.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Pharaoh's Dreamsicle Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #18 silvertip badger brush. I did two passes with the Schick Adjustable Razor with a Personna blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pharaoh's Dreamsicle AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... Today's shave was citrus heavy: lime soap, lemon WH, and orange AS.

This blade very good for dealing with stubborn areas of growth, really responds to feather like touch, especially around the Chin and Jawline.

This mornings shave was a three pass shave to give me a DFS. When I was setting up this photo I was looking more closely at the box of blades. On one of the smaller sides I noticed that is says that they will fit any scrapper. I don't think they were meant to be used as a shaving blade. That would explain why the blade would benefit from a stropping. Though eight shaves from a scrapping blade ain't bad, I guess. I will continue to use it til I can't stand it no more or it stops yielding decent shaves. BECAUSE I'm cheap and it's working now. What's that old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

G8 injector today for a nice shave. The blade didn't feel quite as smooth and I changed it out for a new one at the end of the shave. Have a great day!

A two pass shave this morning left me with a BBS shave. I am finding that the Schick Prolines I feel the blade more than the Kai Pink. Not that the Proline sticks out any more just that it is a little more aggressive in my mind. I will try another Pink after this one turns south then move on to a Feather Pro after that. From there I should be able to figure out what blade I like more.

If there is anyone wanting to get one of the General SS models they are re-releasing a second batch in December.
