Thank you Ken. I put my SOTD photo on Twitter each day. Many times the soaps or razor manufactures will retweet them and others never do. I find it interesting to see how the manufactures react on social media.

I've thought about joining over at TOST, but I spend too much time on TSD as it is. I'm afraid adding another forum would be a bad idea!

A bit of a surprise Shave as I thought I had sold on my FW/BT razors. Discovered amongst my stache of boxed 1912s , this rather minty cased Flying Wing. To continue my sequence of SE Shaves I just had to give it a run out. Though a mild razor, I used this to my advantage and was able have a really smooth Shave, getting rid of all stubborn whiskers by doing extra polishing up work without causing any irritation. In fact I really enjoyed my shave with this quite elegant little Razor, and got better results than I did yesterday with the ER Natural Angle [ HFT ].

    Pre-Shave: Hot Shower
    Brush: Omega Boar Brush 81064
    Soap: Tobacco, Dirty Deeds Soap
    Razor: GEM 1912
    Blade: Red Devil(scrapper blade) (11)
    Strop: Amish made
    Stropping Machine: Ever Ready
Post-Shave: Cold Water rinse, OSMA Alum block and English Leather Aftershave

I did two passes this morning after stropping the blade twenty five times. In return I got another DFS with very little feed back from the Alum block. If I would have done a third pass I may have got BBS but I wasn't looking for it. As I said yesterday the English Leather pairs very nicely with the Dirty Deeds.

I had a party last night 11/30 with a Ever-Ready Streamline & a NEW TREET Carbon blade - of course it was a good shave.
    HAVE A GREAT FRIDAY.

This was my first shave with one of the prototype razors that I got in a lot last month. Comparing the head of this razor to my other injectors I would say that it is most like an E, it has the irregular striations on the guard bar like the Type D and early E's but smaller blade stops like the E. The entire razor seems to be made from a single piece of formed sheet metal. The shave did not feel overly aggressive, but more so then a G, IMO this is very much an E type head. I did three passes with the face freezing Stirling MITA (I don't know how you guys do the glacials) and ended with a smooth shave, but not as close as I was hoping for. I think having not used an Injector since SEptember that my technique may be a little rusty. Have a great weekend everyone!!

Glad to see you bust one out. Personally, I love that one. It's easy to see where they may have been wanting to go either to simplify manufacturing or as a possible wartime excursion. I forget, any marks on the underside?
