When you have a PAL S/S Adj that functions as it should, it is one of my favourite Razors. Today using a Proline
AC blade, its performance for me was enhanced to another level.
Todays Shave was excellent in every way, smooth, comfortable and satisfyingly close. The result for me is as good
as those I can obtain with the modern AC/SE Razors that I have tried , and the poor old Supply comes nowhere close. Does not look too bad either for a Razor over 60 years old.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Tabac Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Frank Shaving Badger brush. I did two passes with the Micromatic Bullet Tip with a CVS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

ALRIGHT GUYS....LETS CONTINUE THE SCHICK PRO-LINE DISCOURSE!!

In my shave cave, The Pro-Line B-20 testing has improved my quality of life on a new plateau...
You guys already know my initial impressions. Well yesterday, I got to try one in my I2 Hydro-magic which is my favorite mild shaver in the World.

Well this B--20 immediately bumped the efficientcy level up several steps but retained it's smoothness and gentle nature!!! Schick Pro-Line STRIKES AGAIN!

Whats happening with you guys? Any new Pro-Line discoveries?

This was a most perfect kit today....and the Schick Pro-Line B-20 was a major player!

@EzraCobb is graciously sending me a few Proline injector blades to try out. I've got an empty Schick dispenser that I'll use for those. I'm interesting in trying the Proline SE blades at some point as well.

Which injector should I try the Proline in first? I was thinking of a G1 or maybe a J1.

Use of the Proline in an E2 calms it down a lot.Same applies to PAL Injector -Matic

I haven't posted for a while but just had to show off the Christmas present I bought for myself. The first time I have used it today and it really put a smile on my face. Hairs off/smile on

    Prep: Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: GEM stainless
    Razor: GEM G-bar
    Brush: Stirling Kong synthetic
    Lather: Stirling Scots Pine Sheep
Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Ozark Mountain aftershave
    WTG, touch up

Another successful shave with the G-bar. Enjoyable razor that has surpassed my Featherweight, Pushbutton, and 1912. In fact I moved the 1912 to the drawer for a while because I never had good shaves with it. Enjoying the G-bar very much.

Try a Schick Proline B20 on the supply, it added aggression for me.

Before you give up on modern GEM razors, have you tried the ROCNEL SE-G? Made in Turkey sold at bullgoose. It has a lot of blade feel, it is O.C. and agressive! It is 230 new, so it ain't cheep. I paid 170 used. seller said it tore his face up....[IMG]

Thank you! Looking forward to trying them out. All my injectors are Schicks, so it'll have to be one of those. Had a PAL Adjustable once but never got comfortable shaves with it. Never tried the Supply....one day maybe!

I was one of the early users of the Proline having got it for the Supply. strangely the Personna which I do not like much, works best in the Supply for me.
Am not doing the Rocnel as I am not keen on its looks + why should I when I can get Super Shaves from the better looking Streamline :)

I have not used the Pro-Line B-20 because I have not been able to find any. For now I am stuck with the Personnas.

I am on my second jar of the Proraso Pre-shave. I just wet my face and then apply the pre-shave before I start loading my brush. The pre-shave is lightly mentholated. So, whatever soap I am using, it does add a nice cooling effect. I face lather, so after I apply the pre-shave, I load my brush and then face lather right on top of the pre-shave. I have used it as a replacement for my face wash. It has worked out well.

Andrew has some coming....Thats where I got mine...

BTW....Tried them in my F-type.....For me...the F-type is my most aggressive injector but still very smooth...But with the Pro-lines, I could feel the blade edge maybe a bit more than I wanted...,Still got a great shave....But I think I prefer the Pro-lines in my Hydro-magic....
