    Schick E 2- Canadian WW2 issue
    Schick Proline [ 1 ]
    Tuff Red A/S Lotion

When using a Razor for the first time I tend to stick to well proven soaps, such as the Vitos I used to today.
I have used an USA E2 before and have to admit that though they Shave well, it is a bit of an experience as they are pretty aggressive , so not sure what the Canadian version would be like.

From the off it was apparent that this Canadian E2 was a different animal to the US model. Smoother than smooth yet sufficient blade feel to let you know it was doing its job. This was certainly the best ever Shave I have had with an Injector that uses a single blade, and that includes my favoured PAL. It is possible that the PAL pair may be moved down my list of Favourite Injectors [ single blade].

Three hours on, and am beginning to think that this is one of my best ever Shaves, from an Injector or SE Razor, and that includes the Modern AC/ SE Razors that I have tried. However, I must curb my enthusiasm
because after all it is only One Shave!

    Frank Shaving Badger
    Schick J Golden 500 (Shortified)
    Personna
    CWR
    Thayer's Lemon WH
    Lucky Tiger

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Jeff's Soap Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Frank Shaving Badger brush. I did two passes with the Schick J Golden 500 with a Personna blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The SS General come in the mail yesterday, so I HAD to use it today. Just like the black aluminium one the SS one gives an effortless BBS shave. After two passes I am just that, effortlessly BBS. The only negative thing I could say about the razor is that it is heavy. No I mean really heavy. I have the Black Al General that I found to be a little light so I put a SS handle on it. That made it pretty good on weight. Now it may be that I'm just not used to the weight of the razor but I think I will put an aluminium handle on it for the next shave.

I had a amazing shave last night [12/28/2017]...

The @Jayaruh handle is AMAZING! The GEM JR BAR|Lather Catcher has found a permanent handle. Loved the shave last night...

    Peace, Jamie

Early morning shave. My favorite bakelite handle 1912 with Burma Shave soap and brush. A PAL blade and pinaud citrus musk round out a great shave.

    Brush: TurnNShave 25mm custom brush
    Razor: Gem 1912
Blade: Gem Blue Star carbon blade
Soap: Mitchells Woolf Fat infused with dragons blood/opium type
Aftershave: Alum Block followed by Nivea Sensitive

For a first time carbon blade use, I really likes it! It seems to work better for me than the stainless steel thus far. Taking care to dry the blade off and keeping it from rusting to early. Great face shave!

    Omega 11126 boar
    Blues Soap
    Schick Type F
    Stick Proline Blade [ 2 ]
    Pitralon Original A/S Lotion

Whilst using the Type F to shave with, it feels great in the hand is very agile. The downside for me is that though vey
smooth and initial passes get rid of most growth, it seems on the mild side and I cannot get the ultra close finish that I get with other Razors. It could be the blade as cross loading may have affected it, but will persevere as it is
    so aesthetically pleasing.
