First shave with a Damaskeene (not as pretty as Clint's). Nice shave, smooth, seems very much like the 1912 to me. Picked this one up from @Obie on TSN.

Early MMOC/PTFE with shim. Soap is actually one of mine from last year which is pretty damn good. One ATG pass + cleanup (headshave), two for beard. I could live happily with the MMOC as my only SE.

How does a shim work? Is it part of an old blade? I had an MMOC but found the blade position not to my liking.

Two good options are a twin Injector blade (which I use) or one half of the spine pulled off a modern SE blade. Note that this would only seem appropriate on the MMOC without the bumps on the baseplate.

last night's shave with the Lady Eversharp......

 

2.4.18 Sunday night shave
lady eversharp with personna 74 on 3rd shave... Just a great blade and the type K1 handle and head are just perfect for me.. This longer handle is a perfect balance.

 

That is great to see really. Just something about a vintage SE and CS blades. Kinda warms the heart. Great looking 1912!!

 

Today I tried my Ever Ready Lather Catcher with both the wooden handle I got from Jayaruh and the original metal handle...
Both gave fantastic shaves....It was quite interesting though...

The wooden handle was definitely giving me the impression, that it was a couple notches milder....and the metal handle, which weighs at least 3x's more, felt more aggressive.

I love having the options.....its like having two different razors...I highly recommend it!

 

Still amazed at how good that razor shined up. I need to send you a few to work on.

Have only tried a Proline blade in the Supply since getting the V2 No3 plate, and they work very well together. Today was my 6th consecutive Shave, all being Top Notch in every respect.

Nice shave with the Revere injector. Day and half of growth easily swiped away with superb Bigelow lather. All around nice shave. Enjoy your day!
