Is it best to rotate soaps or use one till it's gone?

So far, I still only have two soaps. The Colonel Conk's Bay Rum that I've been using, and the VDH that came with the "Premium Shave Set" I bought to get started with this. I've been exclusively using the Colonel Conk's so far.

Walmart carries them, six for less than $3. They're not very elegant but very functional.

I like to rotate...variety is king! Although, if my face is a bit torn up, I always gravitate back to the soaps (and creams) that provide the best comfort.

I use a rotation of my soaps and cremes. I always use MWF on Tuesday's . I put them in the order I am going to use them go through the rotation.

+1 for the Ziploc containers, they work great.

I found them at the supermarket we shop at. They are Ziploc XS bowls. The ones that are too costly to throw away after one use, but not so costly that if something happens to them you won't care deeply.

IMO, they are the perfect soap storage bowl and what I've been looking for for quite some time. I hated having glass in my bathroom. That's all changed now. (The glass is out!)

And all of the remainder of the brick of p.160 is now in containers and in the cold part of the fridge.

Yeah, you're right Tom, not elegant, but 100% functional. To me that's what's important.

I bought the Glad brand containers. I assume they are exactly like the Ziploc ones. They came in an 8 pack, they are plastic, and the lid fits on very securely. In fact when I go to use a soap I haven't used in a week, the puck is still moist. They work perfectly for me.

I use AoS Lavender, Cade, MWF, a few creams (Musgo Real!), and SRD & Momma Bear's Bay Rum glycerin soaps. The pucks have their own mugs, as I found that easiest. For the creams and glycerin soaps, I picked up the SRD "bulldog" mug. It's nothing short of wonderful. I recently tried Cella and P.160. Since they're soft, I picked up a case of short (8oz) Mason jars for them. Eight ounces will last a long time as will the 1 kilo block!
