Jim, you received some very nice gifts from the family! I'll be curious to see how the Futur shaves on the more aggressive settings.

 

These are the brushes that topple me when it comes to no buy. For the most part, I can ignore natural hair. They really haven't come up with anything new in the last couple of years. And when it comes to badgers, it's easy to ignore them because of the cost. But see here we have a knot I haven't tried, in a handle style I love, in butterscotch no less, AND it's less than twenty bucks.

You family did a great job on the gifts. I am looking forward to your thoughts on the Futur as you get more time with the razor. I really like the photo filter you used. Bravo.

 

Not exactly the kind of 20 or 22mm I had in mind, but I do like the set of skids on that interWar antitank rifle.. Is that one Russian, Finnish or Czech?

Going past my usual 36 hour shave reset timer, and only having the Android for viewing or posting, I'm anticipating the return to home base. Visiting/working didn't stop really enjoying a shave. Barbershop Hop face lathered easily with well water and synthetic knot. The Bunny and Notso comb mowed my face field with nary an error. Silent Alum, Special Reserve splash, and back to the Man's garage sale that has kept me busy today.

Very nice results today with the Black Hawk. Fun razor! Smooth and comfortable and a different feel from the injectors. It's fun to change it up every now and then.
