Thank you. I have tried to catch those bubbles a bunch of times, but today it the first time I actually got a good pic.

 

Thank you Jim. I love the Timeless OC razor. It is a wonderful shaver with a fit and finish that rivals or surpasses anything made.

 

I agree 100%.

 

Now THAT is a SOTD story. Never heard a better one.

Alum, Thayer's Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, and Fine Platinum

I enjoyed a nice three-pass shave with the FB set on 5, 3, and 1. I get relatively little reduction on 1, but it allows me to perform an additional ATG pass. I can even shave ATG over the bulb of my chin and my upper lip, which I cannot do on the more aggressive razor settings. I get a slightly better overall shave when I set the FB on 5 and go for two passes, though. Remembering yesterday's shave, I repeatedly checked the TTO knob to make sure the barn doors were closed tightly. No problems at all today.

Some thoughts:

• Polsilver blades rock, both in terms of sharpness and smoothness
• Jabonman is my all-around favorite soap - fantastic cushion, slickness, and (Bride-approved) scent. The Oriental Breeze scent pairs nicely with the Fine Platinum.
• The SOC badger is simply a good-handling and solid-performing mid-sized brush. I like the looks of the cherry handle as well. It's not as cool looking as other brushes, but I'd be very happy if it were my one and only.

A Cop just jabbed a Marine. Oh, what to do?

 

At my age I have this down to a fine art. Now I can't drink like I used to, thank the Lord, so I can fire back a half a dozen Buds in a few hours, get a good buzz, and be ready to go a few hours after that. As long as everyone is happy, mission accomplished!

 

Just don't use the chainsaw, attempt the popsicle stick shave, or use one of @NCoxSTL's trial blades on those days.

I do too. Mine WDC-6 has the Sunrise Synthetic knot. It has been a while since I used the brush so I am looking forward to it.
