A very Happy New Year to you all. I have several soaps nearing the 'Finish Line'. I'll be dropping in here frequently to update their progress. I'll try my best to keep up but no promises since my waders are leaking.
Superlative shave today to start the New Year! OneBlade Genesis and Simpson Chubby 2 Synthetic teamed up for a two pass, close comfortable, drama free shave. MDC Brain Bowl purchased in 2015 is still hanging in there. Since I'm focused on FINISHING SOAPS this month I'll attempt to finish it this month!

Well, I knew THAT, but you see my point? By the act of shaving, you reduce the number of tubs in the den.

Well he is an accountant for certain, which means he can make numbers mean anything he wants. It's a superpower.

    Thank you very much!
This is why I post my experiences. This helps tremendously.
Guess I was on the "cutting edge" of my straight razor.

Randy, you just chose a good "beat" for Natalia's next Boot Camp Class. "5, 6, 7, 8...Stup-e-fy, Stup-efy yapadapadeedeeedeedeedee"(course I get the credit starting from yapa and ending with the last dee)

I see your point. However, with this crew it seems to be more common that soaps actually multiply as shaves occur. I know it worked that way for me the past couple of years. Not that long ago I had my MWF, Tabac, Arko and Proraso. I've shaved just as much since then but now have Stirling (in multiple flavors), Jeeves (in two flavors), Wheat State, Oleo Soapworks, VDH (in two flavors), Soap Commander, T&H, D.R. Harris....and maybe some I'm forgetting. So the "shave and you reduce inventories" theory clearly doesn't apply as a law of shaving physics.

    Well then....
That's the "accountant" this group needs.
Just give the answer you want, we can "work out" the numbers. :sport026:

    Razor: Blackland Dart
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (3)
    Brush: PAA Atomic Rocket
    Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated
    Soap: PAA Boomtown Bay Rum
    Stirling Bay Rum witch hazel
    AS: PAA Boomtown Bay Rum

    Happy New Year!

Awesome shave from the Dart to start the year! Three pass, BBS result with a tickle from the alum on my neck.

I went with the Atomic Rocket brush this morning for no other reason than the fact it stands out on the shelf. This thing is huge! I do like longer handled brushes when using the scuttle with its deep bowl so the Rocket worked out well.

Lazy day ahead other than taking the tree down. Have a great day![IMG]

Ahh, OK, Neal, I can appreciate that. With my Stoylin Barbershop, more "green" is beginning to show around the circumference of the tub, but at times the white "tarpaulin" does indeed cover the green "astroturf" at the bottom.

Great shave today! It's Williams Week around my place, and since I wanted to smell like an old man, I went with the Pinaud!
I used, badger, boar, horse, and now finally synthetic brush for the Williams!
