Thank you Jason. It should be finished by mid February using the 1508.5 is my latest estimate. I hope sooner.

Paul-the new arena is still in the process of being built. Mostly like it is on Break oklyn. I am not sure with this COVID nonsense they would use two arenas for the season, Brooklyn and the Nassau Mausoleum (Coliseum)

Here's my take, Paul, for what it's worth...

I don't think you can justify buying new stuff to try during a NB, but I wouldn't sacrifice on anything I normally use if I was running out of it. You're simply taking a temporary break from stuffing your den with extra items and enjoying what you already have. We're all here to enjoy our shaves and improve our technique, and we need a minimum amount of basic supplies to get this done. Take your favorite Stoylin body wash as an example. You'd have to stuff your den full of it in December to make it through 2021 without buying more. It seems more reasonable to just purchase it at your normal rate of use through the year. Same with blades if you haven't lost your mind and hoarded them like I have. :)

I actually don't think you'll have any problem *at all* succeeding with your NB. Enjoy your fancy body wash if that's your thing. Besides, I've retained Mulligan, Mulligan, and Mulligan, Attorneys-At-Law, PLLC to defend us in case of an inquiry.

Very nice shave Myles. I have not heard of that aftershave. How would you describe it?

It's hard to describe, right off the top it smells floralish with maybe some orange blossom sandalwood musk and some vanilla. It's pretty light so not overpowering. once it dries down I get a sweet talc scent. it's a clash of new school and old school. Thought I read somewhere it's similar to JPG Le Male

    Good evening guys!

    Shavette Shave #233
    Dovo Shavette
    Feather 1/2 DE Blade (2)
    Omega Pro 49 Brush
Stirling Bay Rum SS and AS
    Dickenson's Unscented WH (not pictured)
Nivea for Men ASB (not pictured)
    Whiskers: 33.5 hrs

I know it is late for the shave, but I didn't want to rush a morning shave in case I get called to work.

It looks like I may deep six the Bay Rum SS sooner than I anticipated. Really got a beautiful, creamy and slick lather for this shave. I didn't want to have my normally thin lather because I wanted more protection with this Feather blade. Did 2.5 passes and acquired a near BBS shave without any bloodshed or irritation. This is my 2nd time using this particular blade and it really is sharp. Yes, I know that you guys know that it is sharp. Did my normal post shave routine to finish this smooth, comfortable and fine shave. Tomorrow is a no shave day. Have a great night guys! 20210118_222702.jpg

Thank you Gary! I enjoyed this shave very much! Shaving with Feather blades in a shavette is another challenge that I have conquered. The only challenges left are the following:

    1. Shave with a straight larger than my Mad Max.

    2. Shave with a traditional kamisori.

    3. I would like to straight shave without switching hands.

very cool.is there a big difference with a kamisori compared to straight?

Yes, the grip is different. Using a traditional kami, it is recommended to use one hand for the true experience, but you can use 2 hands. This is because only one side of the blade should be used. The kamisori with the western grind is easier because it can be used like a regular straight.

very cool.so in theory if you learned the traditional Kamisori one haded you could incororate a one handed straight shave...;).but seriously ,i hope you try the kamisori out soon.cool new challenge..:)

    Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/ Original Source Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.
    Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears ~ Lemon Flower Transparent Bar Soap + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
    Brush: Omega 11047 Mixed Midget.
    Face Lather.
Lather : Hampshire Wool Fat Lanolin Shaving Soap.
    Blade: Derby Usta. (3)
    Razor: Kanzy K100.

    Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade (~Winter mix~) Lavender + Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ L'0REAL ~ Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

    Greetings,

The kanzy k100 is another comfortable razor to shave with a good balanced weight...What i really like about, it is the closed 'tech type head' which holds the blade rigidly with no blade over-hang a great design feature reducing the risk of catching my ear lobes or under my nose when shaving.

Another enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a small dollop of L'0REAL ~ Barber Club Reinforcing ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.
