Great shave, Bill! After my 50 yr Krona focus/rule, I need variety in my shaves. Besides I’m having a ball developing my straight shaving skills to the horror of my neurologist who informed my wife that I should see a shrink! SWMBO told me she smiled at the doc and told him that’s what she likes about me!
Thanks,Joe. Have a good day.
Thank you Patrick.
You and me both, Clint! @Dave in KY , @jluc @jtspartan
You know Clint, I might just pick up a couple of real shiny, new modern artisan razors this year! I’m sure Jim will enjoy seeing them!
Thanks, Joe! Good morning!
Not sure what he's cooking up but Blackland has a razor or two that might be released this year. If the polished Blackbird Ti is released that'll be another temptation.
So far so good though.

Great looking shave Dave. The cake looks even better.
Great shave kit, Patrick! Is that a synthetic knot or horsehair?

Blackland Tradere OC
Gillette 7 O’clock Black
ABB Shave Soap
ABB Chiado Aftershave
Happy Thursday Everyone. The Little OKU Botiho is a face lathering dream. Of all my bushes this might be the best mix of face feel, back bone and flow through. The 3rd shave in a 3 day run with the Blackland Tradere OC mirrored the previous 2 shaves. Three passes with touch ups ended in an automatic drama free BBS shave. A splash of ABB Chiado and I am off to a client site for the day. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.
Careful Paul, that's the beginning of the end......
Thanks Clint, it was
Great shave Clint. Never heard of the brush maker or soap. Nice !
Another excellent shave summary and photo, Barry! You are simply restating the organizing theme of this thread! Technique trumps tools!
Agreed, Bill! Our friend Joe can sometimes get a bit hyperbolic!
I’ve heard of shave hatchets, but that’s a shave cleaver!!
Thanks, Joe! It was a great day!
Awesome shave Joe!
