Razor: Gillette Aristocrat 1947 (Birth year razor)
    Blade: Feather Platinum (4)
    Brush: WDC-5 Boar (Whipped Dog)
    Soap: Route 66 Casablanca
    Aftershave: Fine American Blend

Fair shave this evening. I don't care for this knot, so I'll replace it tomorrow. I was saved by a very good shave soap and a great razor.

That's on your woodpile isn't it? Awesome pic. We got close to a foot last night. And I was up at 4:30 scraping off windshields for my wife and "daughter that I used to have " thinking about how i could work that into a pic if their was only daylight.....

Actually it's on a tree that was cut down last Summer. It will be in the wood pile this fall.

If the tree is cut down, but not cut and split it is a pile of wood technically it's a pile of wood. :)

When I was a little kid, my dad used to do the saw work all over in the woods on his days off. Then my little brother and I would drag it in on a toboggan from wherever in the half section it was.

Wanna know how glad I was when I just got cut loose on the tractor and we could haul it in?

Course then it turned into skidding lengths to the yard and I did all the saw work except the felling......

    Poor unicorn.

    Blade
    : Chinese Schick
    Razor: Personna injector
    Brush: Artisan badger
    Lather: Route 66 Cavendish
Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with Skin Bracer, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, touch-up

Another nice shave with Cavendish. I loaded up plenty of soap but could have used a touch more water. The lather was still excellent and I hydrated it by dipping the tips of the brush in as I face lathered. Nice and smooth with the Personna injector. Nice result in the end. My sample of Cavendish is still going strong.

    Have a great day!

How many shaves do you figure you'll get from the Cavendish sample?

I have shaved with it four times and did a test lather before that. So, five uses total so far. I predict another four to five shaves. I get about 8-10 shaves with a Soap Commander sample. Stirling samples are another story - you could get 20+ shaves from those.

    I get 8-10 from a Route 66 sample.
