This picture is dedicated to @PickledNorthern My second Route 66 shave this month: - Route 66 "Ghost Town" - Jayaruh #58 - Schick Adjustable at 6 - Chick blade - Lucky Tiger AS This setup was pretty similar to the last shave - with the exception of the brush and the razor setting. When two very user friendly components work together - like in this case the soap and the brush - the result is just fantastic. Creamy lather in abundance ... and as I stated in my previous post: you can fine tune the texture to your liking pretty easily. I don't think you can use too much water with this soap. Is there some sort of breaking point? Have to check that next time For the first time in what appears to be an eternity I shaved my whole face today. The last few years I used to wear either some sort of circle beard or a goatee. Not any more - feels kind of weird atm After two passes with the chick (setting 6 is still rather mild btw) my face is almost BBS. The shave was pretty much irritation-free, with the exception of 2 or 3 tiny bloodspots on my chin (micro-fractures in the hull, as B'Elanna Torres would call it). Have a great day!

SOTD January 3, 2017 Blade: Chinese Schick Razor: Personna injector Brush: Jayaruh #60 synthetic Lather: Route 66 Cavendish Post: Witch hazel splash enhanced with Ozark Mountain Trail aftershave, Nivea sensitive balm WTG, XTG Terrific, shiny, well-hydrated lather this morning with Cavendish. Today's lather was a good bit more wet that the previous one a couple of days ago. I used a touch too much water in the beginning, but was able to work it in and create a really effective lather. It was a bit runny, but still worked great. Nice scent, great cushion and slickness. First use with the Personna injector and I really enjoyed it. Nice shave - I hope the same for you guys. well, that would disqualify ME in reporting when I make my Rte 66 order, as I presumably won't have a logo to back it up. Yer just gonna haft take muh word for it
