Be careful Japanese Steel can be addictive.My observation of Japanese Razors find that they are usually made from very hard steel that can take a great edge ,They always seem to have a bit of weight a usually very high workmanship .I always keep my Tanfugi in my weekly rotation.
I know about the Japanese razors being addictive. I own many, and almost every one is of the highest quality.

Latest addition. "Hoshitombo 6000" folding Kamisori. Major work done to it, to make it look like a presentable razor, sort of. At least to my standards.

I’ve had Daishi, and Yamada. All are excellent. The Japanese know their steel and Cutlery. I’ve not heard anybody having a bad experience.
