    Blade: Feather (8)

    Soap: Captain's Choice Bay Rum
    A/S: Captain's Choice Bay Rum
    Bowl: Starry Night Dotted Bowl

SOTD rescue. Just behind my SOTD is a young girl standing in the water bottom right of the main bridge support. I noticed her climbing down the support as I was setting up my photo. I took the flick and put my gear away. I then noticed she had lowered herself in the water and picked up something from the water. She was trying to pull herself up on to the platform, but was unable to. The water is running pretty good still and it is cool. I know that the longer she stayed in the water the the more difficult it would be for her to get out. Not wasting anytime I called Fire & Rescue to come to her aid. I know the men who showed up in a short period of time and pointed out her location. They got her out quickly and in good shape. Turns out she had dropped her phone in the from the top of the bridge.
All's well that ends well. :happy088:

I don't smell the Cherry or Lemon much at all. Smells like spice (which I've learned in the shaving world equates to the Indian old spice smell that I really don't care for). The good news is that wanting to trade it out with another B&M soap rather than keep it means I'm not a SAD hoarder, I'm a soap aficionado. I'm sure there is another aficionado out there who will be willing to trade at some point, particularly as B&M will not be releasing that scent this winter.

I suppose I could not taken some pictures, but once I swung into action I was on a mission. Thanks Jim.

Thanks, Clint. Unfortunately it's tough to sample their limited and seasonal releases. I like their soap enough that it is worth an occasional gamble and hopefully a trade if the scent doesn't work for me. I figure if I can work a successful trade, the postage should be less than a sample, and then I don't have to try to brush load from one of those stupid tiny containers.

As much as I have no desire to see your Shave porn, Jim, I do feel as if I've missed out on the shared experience of others in the group. I'm not saying that's bad, I'm just feeling like I missed out.

Nice shave save, Doug! Once a Marine, always a Marine.

Clint is right, the sound is one of the best indicators of angle. Safe journeys!

I've occasionally verbafied a noun when it seemed appropriate. Never was a big fan of English class.

    Razor: M3 Schick Adjustable (5)
    Blade: Personna Twin
    Brush: Cremo by Vie-Long
    Soap: Williams
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

It was a bit soon after my last shave, so I decided to go with something "safer"- the Schick Adjustable with a Twin blade. One more try with the Williams, this time with a horsehair brush; that might have helped things had I had a bigger brush. Still the baby was caught with no issues.

It seems like July may slowly be turning into an Injector focus.

Great photo Doug. Even better getting the young girls the help she needed. Way to be there. :eatdrink047:

Today was the 15th shave with my '11 R41. My only report is: I am now comfortable on my chin and my jawline. Angle is crucial with this razor, as any misstep will punish you mercilessly. The vintage OS was brilliant (as usual). Very thick (yes...I overload, purposely) Naturally, I must spend more time hydrating, but that's not a negative in my book. I am always astonished how the SOC Boar performs. (It was the subject of my own personal 30 day break-in). More time must be set aside for a 2011 R41 shave...or simply not "chasing the baby".

I am not sure how much bidding activity it would generate. :signs002:

for my 30 day I decided to use the razor that hooked me in, a 5/8 AMA 100. Nothing fancy but a very good shaver. But yesterday's shave was a great experience even being a little short on time. Only was able to do a two pass.

    Myrasol post shave.
For being short on time my face was just as smooth as when I have more time than I need. I'm thinking it's from focusing on this one razor, and already having a good amount of shaves with it before.

For those with exhibitionist tendencies it might be more about the number of views rather than making the sale.
Also need to consider the audience and what is being reflected? mirror-image.jpg

I am sure that those who saw the original picture would agree that reflection is just slightly better than the one in my pic.
