    Great job on another 5 star shave with the Stirling stuff.

    One of these days I should get me one of those Dovo Shavettes.

    Think I'm going BoS myself today, .....however I will be having very few reservations on quantity. I'll even be following up with a few sprays of the same scent Tsuka EdT.

    Bill, thanks! Although it is the only shavette that I have used, the Dovo is the cat's meow! People look down on this shavette because they feel that it is"cheap" looking with the plastic blade holder and also feel that it is not sturdy. I have never had a problem with any blade not doing their job. Yes, I had to wack the end to get a tighter grip, but that was it. Others who have graduated from the Dovo shavette to other shavettes have said that the Dovo shavette is very unforgiving. However, if your technique is good, and you understand the blade quality then you adjust. Yes, I have cut myself, but that was due to pilot error and not the tool. FWIW, I get a better quality shave with my Dovo, then my straights and as you know, I get great shaves with my straights. I admit that I am biased, but I encourage anyone to buy a Dovo shavette. My only caveat is to use a mild to intermediate aggressive blade when you first start using it. As you get more competent and efficient than you can go to a more aggressive blade. Finally, using the Dovo shavette requires a delicate touch and attentiveness to shaving angles.
