Um...is that the original serpentine belt? It looks pretty worse for wear. And, wow, I thought the s-belt on my F250 was over complicatedly routed/utilized. I buy the commercial version, and carry a spare!

Sandalwood. I have WSP, Proraso Red, GFT, ToBS, an older (discontinued) Wholly Kaw Melange de Santal, and trial sizes of both Castle Forbes Cedar Sandalwood and Stirling’s Vanilla Sandalwood. The WSP and CF is very non perfumey or sweet smelling. All woodsy and manly.

Yeah, know what you are talking about there. I got so tired of those scores of 18 I eventually gave it up.

.......... I'd always just head back to the clubhouse to start the lubrication process after 18 strokes. I am so glad the walk back from #2 wasn't too far.

The joy and frustration of SR shaving is that there are so many paths to a good edge, but they are all elusive.

It’s amazing for a tool that is basically the same for 100s of years there is so much variety. It is hard to avoid the RAD virus.

All that matters is your shaves are better than they were before traditional shaving and that you enjoy it. For some it is easy to attain a BBS while for others it is impossible.

Learning to find an edge that makes me happy is the hardest and longest journey. I still have regular honing fails.

Thanks Clint! Great idea. Have to process that. But....thinking through, repurposing/packaging.....it'll be messy and requires...you know, work. I'll have to scoop spoonfuls of soap, making a hole in my favorite tub(s), it'll be sad to look at....... And...whatcha thinking? :D I'm in a 'No Buy July'......just reading this thread is like candy to a baby, and now there's One-Click purchase links showing up? Oh, man....resistance is futile.

ps...yeah, caffeine and keyboarding again. :eatdrink013:

I was kinda thinking about those who have taken stunt shaves to freehanding Feathers. Up-ing that game could happen by having the nails done.

I started using the self made shave sticks when I bought soaps like Mystic Water and Fine without containers. The self made sticks seem to work better with the harder soaps. Something for you to think about during no by July.
