    PLAla Bit Shy of a Full Puck

    I'm glad to be in for this month! My plan is a modified Just One July. I'll be using Soap Commander 13A▲ soap for every shave except Fridays, when The Fat goes into action. Razors, brushes, and splashes will be rotated but I'll use Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill and Fine American Blend a good bit.

    Our stuff was moved in on Thursday and we've been hacking away at it little by little. Tonight is the first night we'll spend in our new house. There are boxes everywhere and we have most of our stuff out of the cabin but will have to go back there and get everything else and clean it up. It's been QUITE an adventure the past two months.

    Looking forward to being back on The Den more and a great month of shaves!

    Perry, Sounds like a great plan. Glad to see you back and that the move went well!

    Sorry for the rough shave Joe. I'm my experience with RR soaps when you get enough water in them the lather should feel very light and fluffy on the skin, it won't be dense and creamy like Stirling.

    Thanks, Clint! These shaving misadventures are opportunities to tweak my shaving techniques. I have had problems using RazoRock and I will use it with safeties. Now, it may come to a point that I get the water/soap mixture spot on that would give me better protection. Until then, safeties and RR will be the way to go.

    Thanks, Andrew! I truly think it was a little too much water that made RR give me a less than stellar shave. I think I will not bloom the RR and load the soap as a paste on my brush. The first facial application will be pasty and then add water slowly. However, I will shave with a DE safety with this soap and see how it goes.
