    When I read this post again and talking about being out in the sun I remember my dad talking about the time he had to put a clutch in a 3010 John Deere in the middle of a cotton field. I ask him how did he split a tractor in the field and he said you just tote a couple of oak boards to roll the rear end on and break in half. You will not find a mechanic today that will do that. Picture below is what a 3010 looks like. Imagine what kind of job that was in the hot Alabama sun with no air tools.
