    It’s interesting that you say that the lanolin was effective in helping you with the MdC. I read a post on the SRP forum that MWF Seem to condition the skin against excessive bleeding. No I have been using MWF for years, and didn’t notice when I switch to the Nancy Boy shaving cream That any nicks and cuts I received tend to be much bloodier than when I was using my regular shaving soap. I really believe landlord has a very beneficial effect on skin condition and reaction to cuts/nicks. Since I’m back on my regular go to soap, MWF, there doesn’t seem to be much if any blood ever associated with my straight razor shaves. It also may be related to my developing more expertise.

    Very nice Keith! Spending money on a razor is all about perspective. Some safety shavers will look askance at spending 200 dollars or more for a straight while they will spend the same amount on a Rex Ambassador and vice versa for straight shavers. It really is about how much discretionary income one is willing to part for their preferred razors, etc.

    Great photo and shave summary, Keith. I had the same experience with the new Fine Accoutrements SS razor. One fellow on one of the Facebook Shave forums I post on went absolutely nuts and trolled me viciously about extolling the virtues of a Chinese built razor when I posted my review of the NEW SS Gillette New LC Homage Razor. People need to understand that a homage is not a replica! I really liked the razor and experienced a great shave. So I agree, beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

    I was kidding about raiding you.
    There will be a few more soaps added to the stash, however I probably have more than enough to see me out as it is.
    If I find that I'll be out that way sometime, and it's not a rushed trip, meeting up for a coffee and/or bite to eat would be nice.
