You had a great shave with the Famex, Bill! Twenty-five always sounds better than thirty, but Dave's a good guy so thirty is a fair deal.

    Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Nivea Men Power Fresh Shower Gel.

    Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears Transparent Bar Soap. + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
    Brush: Lider Turkish Boar.
    Face Lather.
    Lather : Arko Shave Stick.
    Blade: Dorco Titan. (D2)
    Razor: Parker Variant.(Settings) 3-wtg,4-atg + Pick ups.

    Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezings, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils. + 3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Arko Comfort AS/Cologne + ASB.

    Greetings,

    Early morning shave,

A Turkish themed shave to finish my shaving week off...The Dorco Titan/Parker Variant duo has paired together wonderfully throughout the week.

A Enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a small dollop of Arko Comfort ASB.

The Parker variant has been a pleasure to shave with this week if i only had the choice to shave with any of my DE razors then the Variant would be a strong contender....It has been an interesting week using the Parker variant i have realised that i can get a close comfortable shave with only 2 passes + pick ups...Maybe it's the assertiveness of the variant settings but i intent to carry on using this shaving method for a while to see if i can get the same results with other DE & SE razors.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.

Glad you're enjoying it Bill. Honestly it my take $40 to pry it from me. As Jeff said, that's a good deal. Take care !
Beautiful pic Joe and hoping all goes as planned with the surgery. I have been thinking about seeing my shoulder surgeon again......I other than covered with Arthur in it (as well as the rest of me) had the labrum tears and rotory cuff repaired and general cleaning out of the joint. He referred disability insurance to contact me but I've continued with my work which is hard on the joints. Lately I've been considering exploring what more they can do.

Let me sleep on that. After all, it is only one of the best shaving DE tools I’ve used.

This is a soap that I started a 1508.5 and changed my victim. Was craving the scent again and will have it as the next 1508.5 when I finish my current one just to finish it off. Nice fresh clean scent and Sue will be missed........Great 1914 Shave in the books. Have a great day Guys !!

Southern gents are usually hard to rial.

Besides, I think he would rejoice at a brother picking up great tools.

Bumpy hones no more. The last shaping plate will be gone soon and there will be no more.

One of my frienemies recently told me my edges were ‘sub-par’, which they are, since they don’t out shave the best blades in a shavette. Really though, he should have seen just how sub-par they used to be when I used authorized methods and tools.

    Muhle R102 with Triad SS
    Gillette 7 O’clock Black
    Stuga Red Sandalwood
    Godrej Menthol Mist Shave Cream
    Grand Bay Rum Aftershave

Happy Thursday Everyone. I decided to break out the Muhle R102/R41 for a few days. This razor is all about blade feel. The feel of the blade is ever present with each stroke. However, I would not call the current R102/R41 a super aggressive razor. The iKon Tech has the same blade feel with a blade gap to match. That razor was a beast. The key to the Muhle seems to be a light touch and solid technique. Three passes and touch ups ended in a drama free BBS. A splash of Grand Bay Rum aftershave and I think I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great day.

I have no problem with the Supply, but then again I'm a pretty regular injector shaver and do inject my blades, Blair. I loaded my Schick B-20 Proline blades manually into an empty Personna injector magazine, and all goes swimmingly.

That’s a great price Dave’s offering you, Bill! They go for a heck of a lot more in the open market. I love mine, and your shave inspired me to take mine out and use it this morning! Enjoy your day, my friend! I’m looking forward to our get-together.
