    Hi guys!

    Straight razor shave #289
    5/8 Böker King Cutter
    Barbury Synthetic Brush
    Proraso Green SS and AS
    Maggard's Alum Block
    Dickinson's WH
    Whiskers: 25 hrs

    I have not used the Barbury brush in quite some time so it needed to come out to play. It has some backbone and it really isn't as soft as my other brushes, but it does perform well. Proraso continues to give me a great, slick lather and I just love the scent.

    Did a two pass shave that resulted in a BBS minus shave, but I did poke my top ear as I was landing the blade and so some red liquid did appear. Hey, it's rare that I hit my ear, but I just went with the flow literally and figuratively.
    I am going to refresh this blade on my pasted strop with Crox because it really felt a little tuggy. Finished with the alum, wh and a double splash of the Proraso. Have an awesome day gents!

    Well, I was out of styptic and have to get another pen. Alum didn't do such a great job. Even with small nicks, ears bleed like crazy. Fortunately, it is not noticeable because my eyeglass temple hides it.
