Terrific shave Joe! Why couldn't the doctor determine if it was a bite or a rash? Seems to me a bite would be more localized whereas poison ivy is spread out on the epidermis throughout different parts of the body. Also, the rashes would be more splotchy. Based on your history, it is more likely a bite. However, I have been wrong before. In any event, it kind of sucks not knowing if you are having surgery on Mon. I pray that this minor setback won't delay your surgery.
