That's a nice shave Charlie. I usually keep my Slim on 9 throughout my shave. Have a safe fourth of July.

 

Thank you for your words of encouragement John.. Based on your background, you definitely can shave with anything and still be in sync with this month's theme. You just have to decide what setup to use for your shaves which can be difficult with a large array of items in the den. Take care.

Thanks Joe. I am still going to experiment with bowl lathering this month. I may make it a focus this month. I remembered that I had a little pocket knife to easily get a soap sample from the puck to place in the bowl. With this bowl, it really is easy to make a lather.

Red Tip, White MWF (and spoon of TOBS lavender), Blue Proraso pre-shave cools face on a hot summer day.

Pleasant 3-pass shave with the 1956 Gillette Red Tip with a Gillette Wilkinson blade (1). WTG, ATG, XTG with minor cleanup.

Alum bar raised zero feedback.

Great shave in keeping with the colors of our flag Hogie! Even the Thayer’s Witch Hazel has red, white and blue on the label. Awesome lather shot! Have a safe 4th!
