Do the hairshaper blades last for more shaves because they are longer and each area therefore gets used less during a shave? Or is something else going on?

I find the Osage very nice however the cooling s East ion does not last very long. Very nice shave Paul.

Well I broke a rule today…and got a 10/10 shave

2 days growth, VDH, Derby Extra Shave #2, Stirling Soap, and Hi Synthetic omega brush

Bottom line is it started out terrible as in would NOT cut. It was ripping hair and and dragging. I was out of Derby Extra blades, so I threw in an Astra Superior Platinum


After I did that I was blown away. OMG did an Astra make a difference! It felt like shaving with no blade, nicks or irritation. Wow

 

awesome shave.astra's are great blades,smooth and sharp,a lot sharper than derby's .
