Ok, fuzzy bears and beautiful Ladies aside.
To make this 100 blade trial work all testers need the same razor. That's a Gillette Superspeed Flare tip, or a Weishi clone? Easy for most already own one. Brushes (arguably) shouldn't matter much, just a way to apply soap.
Being a Project Mayhem can we agree to use this?

If your local shop doesn't sell it, the recipe is easy.

    June Focus Day 15:

    Stirling Synthetic Brush
    La Toja
    Rolls Razor
    Stirling Unscented PSB
    Aqua Velva AS

I had a great shave this morning. I was at the gym, so I didn't chase the baby, but I got awfully close. Two passes, which are a little slower than with an Injector, and a DFS + result. I hadn't used La Toja in while, so it was a nice change of pace. It was a great start to my day. I hope everyone has a great day.

Shower- Noxzema facial cleaner, Dr. Bronner's All-One Hemp Citrus bar soap
    Brush- RazoRock Tri-Colored
Razor- The Bunny with Notso comb
    Blade- Schick (4)
    Soap- Italian Barber Milionario
Post Care- Thayers Witch Hazel with grapefruit EO and M-Bomb
    Florida Water with M-Bomb

A rare early morning treat today, I usually shave at night but I didn't have enough time yesterday. I threw another soap at the Bunny today, the wonderful Italian Barber Milionario. This soap lathers easily with a great scent that stays with you for hours. It is not the slickest but it still has excellent performance. I had 2 days of growth and it didn't faze the Bunny in the least. Two full passes today with a third just under the jawline for cleanup and a dolphin smooth finish was the result. I can't say enough nice things about this razor, it excels in every way possible. Have a great day folks!

    Razor - Gold Dollar 800

    Soap - MWF
    Brush - BoS Omega 10066
Post - Cold rinse, Alum, Nivea, The Veg

Well would you look at this! Enough time to post early, which is a rarity anymore. Not sure what motivated me as the morning has never been my favorite part of the day. Must have made the coffee extra strong this morning.

Third shave on the GD800 and I slowed down today. Made sure lather was right, which didn't take too much since it is the Fat after all, and took a few breaths before setting the razor down. Focus! Find the Zen of the razor. And, very nice first stroke and overall first pass. I let the audible feedback guide me as much as anything and used my shave zen for every set down of the razor. Rinsed, went XTG on the second pass and got lost a bit on the left side trying to find the grip to get it right. Again, took a few breaths, found my happy spot and went back to work. Nicely finished. Checked and I had a fine, fine DFS and decided I was done. I could have probably gotten the baby but, this close is a great shave and no cuts, knicks or other problems.

Hit the alum and........all's quiet on the western front. And my face as well. Nice. Nivea to moisturize and I used the Veg as a body splash today to defend against the heat today. It's hot and muggy in the Lou. Had an underground fire downtown last night that knocked out power, caused by heat, a couple of broken water mains due to heat....just a normal Summer day here in paradise.

I switched to my Stahly today. I can't say enough about how nice this head shaves. Smooth with no irritation. I'm getting good lather with the MWF by face lathering. I still don't find it to be the slickest soap I have.

Up today is my biggest and heaviest straight, Jacob Ray 7/8. I like a big heavy straight so it made easy work of my Friday morning shave. One small weeper but zero feedback from the alum. Just barely missed BBS.

Is it just me or does it seem quiet around here today? I had a decently busy day at work with no cell phone since AT&T had a tower fire or something like that in that area. So I was out of the loop all day. Hope everyone is fine. Obviously summer is a busier time than some. Hope everyone had a great Thursday.

Pre: warm shower, Nivea face wash
    Razor: Schick Injector L1
    Blade: Chick (1)
Brush: TGN Finest in Olivewood handle
    Soap: Route 66 Sweeny Todd
Post: Cold water rinse, Maggard Alum, witch hazel, Gillette after shave balm

I degreased tonight and went back to supplies that gave me a BBS shave in previous nights. I didn't get a BBS but got a dang near BBS shave, I didn't figure I would because I didn't shave last night. I got really close, closer than I though I would tonight as I focused on my angle and using very light to no pressure. I am really pleased with this shave and will see if I get my BBS shave tomorrow. Now for tonight's shave first pass WTG was good as I moved slowly and deliberately across my face, I got good beard reduction better than I thought I would on the first pass. Second pass XTG was even better and that got me to a DFS and I could have quit right there and been happy but I didn't. Third pass was ATG very carefully making sure I used almost no pressure and got a near BBS shave so I stopped right there. I could have gone for a clean up and maybe got a BBS shave or maybe just give me some irritation so I didn't try. As I've heard on here before, better a near BBS with no irritation than a BBS with irritation. See guys I'm listening and learning from you all on here. I did my normal post shave starting with a cold water rinse following that with my alum. Tonight's alum was strangely quit and I was so close I had a hard time rubbing it on my face, it wanted to stick to it I was so smooth, especially on my cheeks. I had to keep rewetting it to move it across my cheeks. I splashed on some witch hazel and finished it off with my Gillette after shave balm which gave it's normal tingle. I was really impressed with the shave tonight and happy with it.;)

    Blade: GEM Stainless
    Razor: GEM MMOC
Brush: Satin Tip 'The Purest' synthetic
    Lather: Proraso White
Post: Witch hazel splash, Nivea sensitive balm
    WTG, minor touch-up

No pic due to vacation. Repeat shave from yesterday. The GEM MMOC is an efficient razor. You have to go easy with that one. One pass with minor touch-up is just fine for a road shave.

Proraso White did a magnificent job yet again. All in all a nice shave!

How did you like the Sputnik? To me they are super sharp. They give me that " did I remember to put a blade in the razor" feeling

I like them. This is the fourth blade out of the Russian blade PIF from @NCoxSTL and so far it's the best. I was still DFS at lunchtime. This blade will be a keeper if it holds up for a few days.

Looking good Joe, you're a quick learner as you've obviously learned the mantra of the 30 Day Crew - Technique, technique, technique. It's the quickest way to excellent shaves regardless of equipment.

Speaking of different equipment - I've noticed you and a bunch of others on this thread are exploring different razors lately than when you started. Along that line you and all the rest should consider signing up for the "Bunny" razors being passed around TSD (check Safety Razor threads). It doesn't happen very often where you get a chance to sample a non-commercial razor developed by a hobbyist member of TSD. The thing is, this injector razor is not a DIY creation but a tool created by a true craftsman and machinist. Check it out.
