This morning's shave was just ok. Not sure why, but the lather wasn't up to my usual standards. It just wasn't very slick. Still had decent results in a 3 pass shave and had no irritation.
Finished with the Reserve Cool, which may not be available in a drug store, or be considered particularly 'basic', but it is awesome...
I think I'll switch out the Proraso for another 'drug store' product to keep the focus going tomorrow.

My next stop as I tour my New razors is the English Flat Bottom New. Armed with a new 7 O'Clock blade, the result was a smooth, effortless shave. I have to admit that I think I prefer this razor over the US New LC. It's not that I dislike the New LC but the English FB New seems a touch less aggressive to me... more like an OC Tech would be.

On a different note, I went on a search for a replacement puck of Williams. My local Shop Rite used to have a lot of them but has apparently stopped carrying it. Similarly, my normal Walgreens phased it out along with most of their shaving section. (They even stopped carrying the Trac II and Atra carts.) I finally found one puck at a hole-in-the-wall independent pharmacy.

 

Thank you very much Jason. I have been fortunate to have had and still have many beautiful razors. I wish I had kept them all, but that wasn't to be.

Sometimes you gotta be a cowboy. For real though Tabac is a solid soap pairs well with some Stetson.
