    June 8, 2018- Fatboy Friday

    Razor: F2 Gillette 195 Adjustable (5)
    Blade: Gillette Platinum Plus
    Brush: 30DC LE/Pure Badger
    Soap: Der Vergulde Hand
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

    I'm still waiting on the New SC head so, it's my normal Friday routine this week and the return of the Fatboy. I'm not sure how many shaves are on this blade by now, but it seems to be hanging in. It seemed like a good time to pull out the Der Vergulde Hand soap, as well. All in all, a great end to the week.

    Following up on a comment from yesterday... the Pure Badger knot in my 30DC LE brush is from Virginia Sheng. It was inexpensive, but appears to be comprised of actual Badger hair (though I don't spend time thinking about what part of the Badger :)).

    Pulled the Palmolive cream and Clubman to keep the basic/drugstore theme going. Very nice 3 pass shave this morning. This Palmolive menthol cream really is a good product.
    I'll be leaving work early today and travelling for coaching again, so a hotel shave tomorrow.

    Great pic and a very informative write-up, Neal! Perhaps time to give the teeth on that razor a quick scrub? :)

    That brush and razor are just an awesome pairing, Clint. They look better every day.
    Very nice combo, Jim. What is your opinion of the Wisdom scent? More lavender? Peppermint?
    Glad to hear the shaves with the CL are improving, Joseph. I am a huge CL AS fan, but haven't bought any of their collaboration soaps yet.
    I can't recall if that is your first Injector of that style or not, Patrick, but if it is, you are in for a treat.

    Yep. The flash really shows what you miss when you just glance. LOL That razor has been sitting in the rack for a couple of months and hasn't been included in my monthly scrub bunch for awhile.

    The SC Wisdom is definitely a peppermint forward scent. I like it a lot. I also have Vision and Fortitude, all nice scents.
