Just the Basics June/Just for Fun June - take your pick

    June 10
    Razor - Fatip Piccolo
    Blade - [IMG] (2)
    Soap - Soap Commander Vision
Brush - Stirling Two Banded Synthetic
    Post - Alum

Second night with the Vision soap from Soap Commander. Definitely a nice strong scent, heavy on the mint but the other notes come through nicely as well. I'm thinking I prefer the Fortitude scent to this one, though this isn't bad. Maybe the mint just puts me more in mind of Christmas or something. Not complaining, but this may not be my favorite after I try more. The soap itself, as far as its performance - I'll never complain about that. Perfect lather, exceptional slickness, excellent cushion and the after shave feel is awesome as always.

Two passes with the Fatip and Sharp Star to a near-BBS and that's all I need. Another classic.

Hope your week gets off to a grand start! We are adding new beds to the floor this week so it's been a busy time in the showroom. Working my muscles instead of my brain. Ouch!

Mitchell's sometimes gets a bum rap. It takes a bit more water than some, maybe a little extra technique in the load/lather process but once you dial it in it produces what is still my favorite lather to shave with. Excellent classic/vintage soap.

I tried to get my enforcers from the Cartel hired on to do the heavy lifting. Unfortunately my company does full background checks and drug testing. Apparently when more than 50% of your blood comes back as vodka, and you're on Interpol's watchlist, it doesn't bode well for employment.

    Stirling Glastonbury SS
    B-400 WD High Mountain badger
    Suribachi bowl, cool water
    The Bunny - NOTSO comb
    Schick Chick blade
    BSA; Fresh Cool Breeze AS
SOTD 06102018 Glastonbury WDHM badger.gif Shaved earlier today, but had to get my scoot on. Dad & I enjoyed a meal with my nephew, his (expecting) GF, her mom & grand parents, his brother, and assorted children under the age of 10. Like a couple of our earlier 30 DC, I went to my gear not knowing what I'd grab. Soap was easy - mutton tallow & patchouli! Brush choice for the challenge of loading a badger from a puck - no worries. The injector was next in line & I always like taking The Bunny for a shave. A quick and easy three passer, and I applied a little extra attention to that lower left neck and just under the jaw line. DFS in the house. I may run through the rest of my Schicks and come back to this razor to finish the month. Finished with one of the first aftershaves I tried. It's witchhazel based, fair amount of menthol, aloe gel, tea tree & camomile extract. The kicker is the tangerine and guava scent.
    Good Shaves Y'all!

Today is my 29th Wedding Anniversary and we have a great day planned. We are all going to have a nice beach day with snorkeling. A first rate shave is a great way to start the day. This hardware and software just works well together. Two passes and touch ups ended in a near perfect shave. I hope everyone has a great Monday.
