Great shot Jim! The Atomic Rocket is such as massive brush!

Wow. That seals it. It's only 9AM here, but it has now been determined that I'll be having Thai food for lunch. Bring on the spice!

Interesting shave learnings were to be had today from a rather unconventional shave. Having shaved once now with the bigger, heavier, half hollow Hart Steell razor I bought from @Keithmax, my initial impression was that it was much easier to shave with than my 5/8 Dovo. I mean MUCH easier. Being only 35 shaves in or so, I realize that my technique (or lack thereof) may be a contributor to this, but I just found that the weight of the heavier blade kept me from "hanging up" on my very thick wiry stubble. Today, then, I decided to shave the left side of my face with the Hart and the right with the Dovo. Wow. The left side of my face is easily DFS with no touch up while the right would have benefitted from a pass from the DE at the end. So, a question for those more learned than me in the dark arts:

The results on my beard were dramatically better with the heavier blade. Do those of you who also find this to be true for yourself stick to those larger blades, or as you developed more skill did you just get better "mowing through" heavier stubble with a smaller blade where it had a negligible affect on your shave?

Thank you, Andrew! The Atomic Rocket is definitely a large brush, much larger than I thought it would be when I got it, but I have gotten to like the size quite a bit.

Back to basics this morning. Palmolive is probably my favourite mass market soap, and this blade is still going strong on 5 days. Finishing with the Booster is ok, but the scent isn’t very long lasting.
    Have a great day all!

Best of luck on the sale of your home, Perry. We signed our contract on a new home build this week, so we'll be listing our current home at some point. The market is really good here currently. Safe travels and tons of fun in Mobile!

Day shift...more people asking for stuff and less coffee. The upside is that you get to show off your baby smooth shave to more people. Have a smooth day, Fuzzy.

Going good thanks! Biggest problem with day shift is it's not at night.

Yup, the brush looks just as good today. Awesome!

Another beaut, Clint. I might have spent a few minutes on the Karve website (just for Science!), and see that there are different handle length options. Is yours the standard 3", or one of the longer models?
Nice looking combo, Jim. Finishing with Florida Water is always a good idea!
