Today was the first use. I enjoy the scent. Enough so, the aftershave will probably be on the next order.

I’m terrible at describing scents. It’s a cologne scent. That’s the best I can do.
Scents fall into three major categories for me - Love it. It’s OK. Hate it.

    Thanks Perry!
I like the Supply a lot. It’s a different animal than most razors. Skin stretching really seems to bring out the best in it. I’m kinda leaning towards getting one...

Prep: warm water and Cube preshave soap
    Blade: Chick (1)
Razor: Schick Repeating Razor model A
    Soap: Route 66 Sweeney Todd
Brush: Clint 64 custom aluminum handle with TGN synthetic knot
    Post: Razor Rock Alum

Well this is my first time using this razor. Compared to my other repeating razors (B1 and C3), this seems to be the most aggressive of the 3. I only did one pass WTG to try it out tonight. I got a couple of weepers but the alum cleared that up. Although aggressive it shaved smoothly, just had to be careful of my angle because the head is round and not squared off like most injector razors. That may be why I got a couple of weepers on my neck. All went fairly smooth and for 1 pass gave me a decent shave. I finished off with a rub down with my Alum block and rinsed with cold water. I'm going to reserve judgment till my next shave with it. All in all it preformed well and I'm happy with it for it's first shave. I'm just going to have to keep a better eye on my shaving angle next time. :)

    Saturday Shave

This blade continues to impress with it's ability to hold on edge, the big smiling M. Martinez delivered in every way. I found this tub of SMN in the back of my soap drawer, I should have pulled it out sooner. I enjoy menthol soaps but when using a straight razor I shave be feel and I need to feel the blade on my skin so I have given up on the menthol bombs. SMN has just the right amount, I can steel feel the steel.

An epic shave to start the weekend.

Thank you guys. My trip odometer rolled over to 1996 miles as I rolled into the driveway tonight. It was a long week but included cutting through Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks and The Grand Tetons. It was a gorgeous week. Now it’s tome to slip into a coma
    Good night.

Probably so, Fuzzy. It was sponsored by a local business, and we got invited. Southern hospitality simply demanded that we accept the invitation. (In other words, I'm a cheapskate, and it was a free date with my Bride. We parked in the free parking lot and walked the long way in, ate with plastic forks, drank out of plastic cups, and I wore cargo shorts and my favorite athletic shoes.) It was the first time I had been at Churchill Downs in several years. Even though I'm from Louisville, I've probably only been there 8 or 10 times in my whole life...and often just in the cheap seats where it used to cost $1 for admission. It rained off and and on yesterday, so it was not crowded. We never placed a bet. We just enjoyed some time there with friends and watched the races on a very sloppy track. The race track just happens to be a few blocks from my favorite mom and pop ice cream place, so we finished the day with a stop over there. Going to my favorite childhood ice cream place put me right back at my raisin'. :)

If mine looked that nice, I'd sit it in the front yard.
