I was still fairly close from yesterday, so I performed a quick one-passer with a few touch ups this morning. I still have a few more shaves left using the Mike's Natural Soap. I'm also trying to finish up the bottle of Coral Skin Food...it's OK but not something I'd buy again.

I'm expecting a visit later today from a good friend I've known since childhood. He's staying with us tonight and accompanying us to church in the morning. It will be fun to catch up with him. I hope everyone has a nice weekend.

I am a late-comer to the Barrister & Mann line of products. I cannot really explain why, but I have to say, except for the soaps that are brownish and come with the disclaimer: "Recommend a synthetic or dedicated brush" (because of possible staining of the bristles), I am fully on board. The M&F feels like a mink stole or a soft bunny caressing my face.
Don't mistake that statement for "floppy"; on the contrary, the fan knot has the perfect amount of resistance vs. give. A+
Fuzzy, if you need to take a break, please feel free to do so now.
(Waiting for Fuzzy to relieve his over-active bladder...)........

What can one say about the 1947 Super-Speed. This razor is one Gillette's finest creations. Excellent balance, comfortable and grippy handle, good geometry of the head, which allows for accurate sideburn trimming, etc. One of my favorite TTOs.
Suffered the rare nick above my Adam's apple and because I take an 81mg aspirin daily,
it bled enough to warrant the very-rare styptic pencil.
Buffing abounded and finished with the matching AS. The scent reminds me a bit of Clubman SR, but I thought the same thing about the Lavanille, so maybe my nose is losing its touch.

Another excellent shave this morning. I will use the C&E West Indian Lime shave cream 3 times a week until it is gone. While I enjoy the cream well enough, it falls into my "not buy again" category. An ATG pass followed by XTG pass and touch ups ended in a near perfect shave. A splash of Myrsol Limón and I am ready ready for the day.

What a post! Great photo and great prose! If you are a fan of Oud you have to check out B&M Eventide. It's a winter seasonal scent but I've been seeing it a lot on the BST lately.

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
Blade: vintage Personna chrome
Razor: Schick G4 '66' injector
Brush: Omega 10049 boar
Soap: Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill
Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill aftershave

Nice and easy shave with the Lemon Chill today. The 66 behaved better today. Just did one pass with a little clean-up which is just fine for today. The Omega boar whipped up exceptional lather. I love the cold from the glacial products. Very cold and long lasting. Nice shave overall.
