Jared, the wings look fantastic! Now I want wings today.

Great shave picture! Those are appropriate names for shave soaps, as I feel I have given all that stuff up to fund my shaving habit.

Great picture, Bruce! Do you have any pics of your glass beads?

    June 24 SOTD:

    Razor: Timeless Bronze OC
    Blade: Feather Hi-Stainless
    Brush: PAA Atomic Rocket
    Lather: Stirling Electric Sheep
Aftershave: Crown King Captain Smythe's Reserve
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Unscented PSB

As seems to be a new normal, I skipped shaving on Saturday, so today's shave was pretty nice. A little rushed, and two passes did end with just a little weeper, but also a DFS+. My two older girls are off to Pre-teen camp today, so it will be quiet. I hope everyone is having a great Sunday.

    Great picture, Jim!
What are your thoughts on the aftershave? I find the reserve to be a deeper, darker scent than the Atomic Age, which to me is a sweeter, brighter bay rum. I like them both equally.

Another excellent picture Bruce. Cutting your own hair is impressive. I would hate to think of the damage I could do to myself.

Wonderful shave and photo Jim. It’s nice to have a quiet house occasionally.

Thank you, Jim. I would pretty much agree with your thoughts on the Reserve. I definitely like it, but not as much as the Atomic Age. This seems to have a bit of a synthetic scent to it, which I am assuming is the leather. Still a great scent and I feel like Indiana Jones in a pirate movie when I wear it.

    Razor: Rex Ambassador (4)
    Blade: Polsilver SI (1)
    Brush: Rick Montalvo mixed
    Pre shave: Stirling mentholated
    Soap: CK Lavender Planet
    Thayers Lavender
    AS: CK Lavender Planet

    Happy Sunday guys!

Great shave this morning! I upped the setting on the Rex to 4 as suggested by Andrew. I still needed a bit of touch up along my right jaw. I have a patch of thick coarse hair there that I almost always need to go back and do a little buffing. BBS is the final result.

I pulled the Voskhod after just one use. They just don't seem to work for me. Pretty tuggy. I've tried them in the Blackbird and Timeless Bronze with the same result. I have a few left that I'll try in my other razors.

The Polsilver on the other hand is quickly climbing the ladder to one of my favorite blades.

Great performance and scent from the Crown King.

I ran my errands and got my yardwork done yesterday so today is shaping up to be a nice lazy Sunday.

Have a great day gentlemen! [IMG]

Great post, Jared! I hope you drenched the wings in some "pain sauce"...
Killer brush, by the way. :happy088:

Thanks Perry! Oh yeah...I usually just throw the setup in the lightbox, and grab a shot or two. Easy peasy.

Thank you, Jim! I'd have to hit my wife up for any bead photos. She's the one who takes them so she can put them up for sale. I'm a complete hack compared to her, when it comes to making beads. I have fun though....
