We made it back to home about an hour ago. Thank you all again for having me. I really did enjoy getting to meet and chat with everyone.

Just a heads up, the soap is based on Hanae Mori. It's a really neat scent in my opinion, if you don't mind the sweetness. The EdT and EdP were diluted a few years back when the designer retired and sold the fragrance, but the new stuff isn't bad at all. Just not quite as strong.

Luke was my Dad's name so growing up I used my middle name Clint. Now Clint is the name I use with friends and Luke for work. I will answer to pretty much anything if it involves, food, alcohol or money. ;)

    Thanks Rick!

I face lather, so I really like the flat tops. I think they cover the face with less effort that the bulbs. But why did I want one in my LE handle? Truthfully, most of my knots are bulbs, and I wanted something that looked different. I thought the flat top knot looked really cool. The synthetic knots just keep getting better. I didn't like the first couple I had (much too stiff and prickly), so I passed them on. Now, I'll reach for one of my LE synth brushes anytime I need a quick shave and don't want to spend time soaking a natural hair brush. The Tuxedo knot in my first LE brush has been very good, but this one seems better. It has good backbone and very soft tips...and it's a flat top. With all that said, I can make better lathers with a natural hair brush. I have a ways to go in order to master lather building with a synthetic. I suspect I just need to take more time.

I wish I could help with the BoS scent description. "Cologne" and "spice" are about the best I can do. My Bride likes it and think it smells more modern than my old timey soaps and aftershaves. I was never referred to as Grandpa at any time this morning...well, to my face, anyway. I noticed the scent for maybe an hour after the shave. It was pleasant but very light. I decided it would not be too overpowering for my kids at the hospital, and that was the case. My Bride said that the bathroom hung on to the scent for awhile after the shave as well. I don't think I'll need to wear a cologne anytime I shave with the BoS products.

Maybe you could coax Mrs Primo to jump in the tub for a luxurious bubble bath. Couple of swirls with the lather machine and there you go.

Hate to see magnificent suds go unused.
