Those Neopolitan tan lines took some work, but I'd expect nothing less from a mover and shaker in the frozen treats industry. I hope you and Kassie had a nice break, Randy.
Good call, Chris @Bama Samurai The street tacos were pretty tasty. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
June 28 Mongoose (batch 2) in satin SS w/Dr. Bomber handle Feather Artist Club Super Professional (7) Rudy Vey Chubby handle w/Shavemac Two-band Silvertip knot Stirling Blood on Steel Alum, Thayers WH, USB, and Stirling Blood on Steel AS I enjoyed a super two-pass shave this morning with the Mongoose. I used Alum on my fingertips and stretched my skin like I was using a shavette. It really makes a difference in the closeness and comfort of my shave when I take the time to reeeeaaaaalllllyyy stretch my skin. I have been using the Mongoose for the past couple of months, and I wanted to finish up an open magazine of Super Pro blades before I put it away. I still have 2 or 3 unused blades left, but I'm ready for a change. I think I'll move on to one of my DEs for a little variety. My Bride and I spent a few hours with some friends on the Winner's Circle at Churchill Downs today. The weather was great, and we had a fun day. We don't bet the races (I push my luck getting out of bed in the morning), but we still enjoy seeing the horses run. I hope everyone had a fantastic Friday.
Love the photos of the track Charlie. That does look like a fun way to spend the day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks Jim. We had a fun day with friends, and I enjoyed a rather large drink made with some of our local elixir. About once a year at the horse races does it for us, though. We're good till next year.
Thanks Clint. We had a nice time. The horses were running, and Old Forester was flowing at the track today.
BIC on it's second full head and face shave is at peak sharpness, just an awesome companion to the Stahly. I'll observe here the quality of the finish on the Stahly. This was a well used head, just a bit of Barkeeper's Friend and a hand polish and the chrome befits a $300 razor (which the Stahly was in 1941 adjusted for inflation). I like the backbone so it doesn't bother me. I was just commenting on how it was different. Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
Great shave and love Churchill. My son I visited one time. He collects the Derby glasses, he has them from 1974 forward and he has a bunch from the 60s. Looks like a fun day.
Blade-O-Holic..... Uh... Hey wait a minute... Well... . . . "I'll give it some deep thought and report back to you ASAP" Hope it doesn't take 7 1/2 million years... tp
