    Good morning, guys!
Today, I drew from the hat my 7/8 Henckels Friodur square point. This is my straight razor shave #77. Decide to use my Rocky brush to face lather Stirling Glastonbury. I made the lather slightly more wet than usual and it was still fine for shaving. Did my 2 passes and touchups that included the Fool's pass (tiny weeper) to get an IBSS+, but did nick my neck below my right ear. I poked it when landing. Square points do that when you come in crooked. Lol! Used the styptic pen to facilitate healing. It looked like it was just minor irritation, so it looks fine. Yes, I did get some irritation on my left side of my neck. Applied witchhazel to minimize the irritation. Overall, a fine shave!

Thanks Charlie and Jim. Feels like a small victory. Was just eat sleep work repeat and time flew by.
Love all the setups and pics guys . This will be a fun month of shaving for sure.
I may unbox my new Wilkinson sword today and try to mow down the scruff . All my neighbors are out mowing their lawns in the sun but I think I'll wait for tonight and enjoy a day of relaxation. Besides , I prefer to mow after supper to stir up the black flies . Enjoy your day fellas !

Thank you Patrick. It is pouring rain here today so there won't be any grass cutting today. Oddly it makes the neighborhood so peaceful this morning.

Gillette New SC with Triad SS
    Feather
ATG LE Shavemac D01 Flat Top
    Savonnière du Moulin
    Krampert’s Bay Rum Aftershave

I decided to go with a vintage razor this weekend. I went with the Gillette New SC paired with a Triad SS handle which I think is a nice blend of vintage and modern. After rubbing the Savonnière du Moulin shave stick around my face, I face lathered with the big Shavemac Flat Top. I think I prefer using the SdM soap in a stick. Three passes and touch ups ended with the baby just escaping. Despite buffing my lower right neck, it once again proved to be my nemesis. I did end up with one small weeper as well. Overall a very good shave. A splash of witch hazel with menthol followed by Krampert's Bay Rum is a perfect end to a rainy day shave. Swati and Maya have left for the beach until mid week so that means I am playing bachelor. My goal is to avoid internet shopping. I hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday.

    Love that razor Mark.

    Awesome pics!

No sense in saving it for someone else lol. My daughter's will never use it when I'm gone . All I can hear today are mowers . One stops then another starts . No peace and quiet today I guess Terry. Have a great day!
