  1. i understand what Jason means.the senator razor was probably $2.50-5.00 in 1938.quite pricey in those days..before the 1950s,the razors were rated as poor man, working man and rich man..:)
  2. Thank you, Tim.

  4. The myriad of Gillette razors can be confusing. I do like the handle on yous, Jason.

  5. One of the most important lessons I learned from straight razor shaving is to be satisfied with a DFS.

That is, perhaps, the coolest thing ever! :D
  7. Thank you, Jim! The A/S has even more of the clean mineral salt scent than the soap. Other than that, it makes my skin feel clean and healthy. Scent lingers for a good bit too.

  9. Thank you, Joseph! I’m still searching for that local, tucked away market store in my greater metro area that finds it proper to stock such items. No luck so far.

  15. Thank you, Tim! The Peregrino is a great brush, mostly because it is just so comfortable to hold, IMO. It looks great as well, and I do like this particular knot, which I have on another brush as well. But the handle size and shape just work well for me.

Florida Water AS is good stuff. I can get it at some local supermarkets. Once, the lady at the cash register commented on my cologne when I was wearing it. She asked where I got it, and I told her right back in the shaving area of the store pharmacy. She was blown away something that smelled so good was a drug store scent. Good stuff. My 4 year old was up before I left, and when I gave her a hug, she just pulled me tight and smelled saying "Daddy, you smell good." If that doesn't say "good stuff," I don't know what does.
  16. Great photo and shave setup, Jim!
