Yep, Proraso shaving foam. Been using for my camp shaves and corresponding 30DC posts for awhile. 3rd time for June.

The ARC4 was the shaver used before starting wet shaving in Jan 2019, mixed in with Schlick 5 blade thingys. The Panasonic ARC4 shaver works very well, DFS+ achieved for me wet or dry, just requires more time & work than wet shaving (which just seems wrong). Replaced the blades a couple times, even with that....I’d still have saved some $$$$ to keep using, but not nearly as much fun!!!

An epic set up deserves an epic shave! I did not know the scales of that Snail Forge were mammoth tusk. Love how they contrast with the beautifully dark steel of the razor. Awesome report, Keith! :D

Thank you Jeff! If I had to say one negative thing about this marvelous brush, is that the handle gets slippery when wet so I try not to get the soap on it.

Not at all, sir! I live in California's Central Valley, near Fresno. At 105 degrees yesterday, it was enough to get me contemplating relocation, but today it will only be 93--paradise! Still no rain in sight though :(

Thank you, Joe! Keith @Enrico generously filled it up with Citrus Musk and sent it my way. I like it more and more as things start to warm up here.

Fantastic photo and report, Blair--DFS is better than any shave I've ever gotten while camping (I usually don't shave). You camp in high style :D

The General V1 is IMHO the best modern SE I've tried.
The Oumo Mother Lode is a cloud on the face, but very efficient if well setted.

Thanks, Clint. My son is a custom knife collector. One of his sources in Arizona apparently told him he also made razors. The blades are a handsome Damascus steel which the maker claims has a Rockwell hardness of 57-58. We’re sending them off tomorrow to a honemeister in Idaho to check the bevels and rehone them if necessary!

It’s a great razor, no doubt about it. The V2 is also quite nice. I shave mine with a Feather Super which probably wouldn’t be compatible with your dermatitis.

A mid morning shave with a mid afternoon post. I stuck with the same lineup as yesterday. I try bowl lathering maybe twice a year or so. In an effort to get this gel boar knot settled, today was a bowl lathering day. I loaded the brush like the soap owed money and was 90 days past due before going to the bowl. I slowly added water while lathering and ended up with enough lather for a 5 or more pass shave. Three passes and touch ups ended in a BBS shave. I went with my wife to Target to return something and pick up a few things. Despite the resurgence of COVID cases here, the number of people without masks was shocking. Oh well. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.
