Aaand a real nice shave today. There is something special indeed about that Bill Neumann soap(as I'm sure there is about ANY Bill Neumann soap and aftershave). Great protection of nicks and cuts(translation-I didn't have any of either this morning). I continue to be amazed at how a seemingly small amount of soap/cream can multiply in size with proper use of a shave brush. 2 good passes. I easily could have done a third, but settled for the 2. Maybe I WILL do the third on the next Neumann soap shave. Solid Y formation work at the neck. Smooth and clean all over. Top Of The World Excellent.
Thanks, Maestro, but your photography is excellent! There is elegance in simplicity! I have a Fatip Piccolo, which is also a great shaver. Apparently. Muhle relabeled Piccolo’s as an R-41 when they first brought the model out around 2009?. They later redesigned the head head to the one we all know and love in 2011.
Beautiful memthol shave Jim! You pic and gear are definitely cool!
Congratulations, Paul! Another TOTWE shave! Sounds like you’re finally getting the hang of this wet shaving thing!
I declare it as V-day for you and Kathy! Prayers are already lifted up this morning!
Great Pre-Tabac Tuesday shave, Jim! Hope you and yours are keeping safe and healthy!
Stay safe and healthy, my friend! Keeping you and Kathy in my prayer circle prayers!
Beautiful, arresting photography, Jim! You should consider a job as photographer for Razor’s Weekly when you retire!
Thank you Jeff..well, there still are a few things I need to conquer in order to be a wet shaving expert, but I'm comfortable with the way things are now. I guess we all say "Technique Trumps Tools," but I want to be able to get the best tools I can(for my $$). As for technique, I'm proud of the way I've improved my neck shaving, but some advice from @wristwatchb gave me the boost I needed.
I read it in a thread at B&B! Wish I could remember the OP.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS COMING FRIDAY OR SATURDAY WORKS BEST FOR OUR NEXT ZOOM GET-TOGETHER! I POSTED A POLL UNDER THE SHAVE SCHOOL THREAD!
