Early afternoon shave as I get ready to attend my wife’s cousin’s daughter’s Communion. Busy morning chopping wood then a quick jump in the chilly pool which felt get.

The shave courtesy fo a birth year razor and SDM was delightful. I will be looking and smelling good all afternoon. Hope you have a great day gentlemen.

Jason, I'm glad you're back, and you and your family are the mend. I hope you're fully recovered soon. I'm thankful that the chainsaw wasn't part of your story.

I took a fall a few days ago onto my garage floor coming out of my house. Thankfully, I didn't crack the concrete. Socks, Trex steps, and a big goofy hillbilly in a hurry don't play well together. Got some non-skid strips for my steps and plans to include handrail or two. And I'm OK, but still kinda sore. I hit pretty hard and was fortunate that I didn't break my hip. Dumb mistake on my part.

Thinking of slips and falls...I pitched a half-dozen pairs of indoor shoes that are too slick for hardwood floors. I removed a couple of lightweight folding step stools from the house so I won't be tempted to work from them on the top step (actually a stool). I replaced them with lightweight 4' platform ladders with a safety rail to grab onto...one for inside and another for the garage. I'm also getting an 8' platform ladder to reach high light fixtures and one pesky smoke alarm. I smiled when @jluc talked about chirping smoke alarms waking him up. That's happened to use several times over the years. Earlier this winter, our bedroom smoke alarm (at 11', can't reach it) failed, and our security system began telling us to evacuate...at 3 a.m. Thankfully, I could disable it until my 8' platform ladder is back in stock.

Sounds like fun, Clint. You sound like me. I enjoy taking the time to research big ticket items before I buy.

Charlie, sounds like a solid plan for prevention. Sorry to hear about the fall and glad it wasn't worse. I hope you get to feeling better soon !!

Double negative: I ain't got NO soap, rather than I do not have any soap.
Jason said: "I had no intention of not posting" This is NOT a double negative because there are TWO separate verbs (intention/posting). My statement has ONE single verb. (have/got).

    MWF~~Rubberset 400/3~~dubl duck Goldedge~~Acqua di Parma Colonia
Lovely straight shave this morning with some classic gear.
The Rubberset took no prisoners and whipped the MWF into a frenzy.
Slick 'n smooth, the Goldedge has a perfect base on which to slice.
No issues, no irritation, no problems.
5 spritzes of the Italian masterpiece was exactly the right amount.
The dry down of the AdP is not often discussed, but it has a lovely, woody accord.
    Outstanding juice.
