I wonder if the same thing happened with me on the R48. I am going to send it to Bill to give it try. I might give the razor another try before shipping it to Bill.

Knot looks like it has lots of loft . Is it just the new texture and needs more use or just stiff backbone? Awesome shave btw!

Awesome to hear that Jim! I kinda blamed the blade yesterday in my comment of your post. I seem to get that alot with injectors. Maybe I should be more careful loading blades.

VERY soft face feel. I could put more pressure on it as Clint suggested but the biggest issue is the HUGE glue bump giving it way too much backbone for a tiny (20mm) knot.

Glue bumps like that are just irritating.

    Thanks, Patrick!
This was only my third bad blade overall. The other two were both Bic Chrome Platinums that came in a sampler pack that I bought early on.

They will. I developed quite a stubble during my 3 days in the hospital. I shaved at 5 PM when I got home, then again the next morning.

That would almost make me want to rip it out and change the knot . Where is the knot from?

When I used carts I carried one in the vehicle or my pocket for touch ups during the day. I'm not crazy but maybe a bit OCD at times !

I have OCD.....of the "Doubting And Checking" persuasion. Doing better of late but it was REALLY bad before I decided I couldn't solve it alone.
