Yes, that's true. I was looking around different thrifts, and the different dollar stores and everything was smooth. I almost gave up. Lol! I still have my metal bowls that were also inexpensive, but I like this bowl much better. I onlywish the bowl was a little deeper, but it does work well for me.

my 2 best bowls are my captains choice heavy copper and my turkish copper bowls.both build incredible lathers,fast.

The Captain's Choice bowl is definitely a good one. I considered getting one, but I have small hands and that bowl looks too big for me.

it is a little larger than i like also.i like metal bowls.they don't shatter if i make a blunder.

A wonderful shave to finish my shaving week & the month off in style...The Parker 55SL Semi-Slant has been a pleasure to shave with throughout the week.
As always the inexpensive Boots Trio was a joy to use making my early morning shave a pleasure experience.

A enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.
