Joining this site is perfect because I'm about to travel through northern China while visiting family in Mongolia next month. It turns out one of the villages I'll be passing through is one of the key villages that supply badger fur to the European shave brush companies.
I'll let you know what interesting tidbits I find.

Yeah, it was my pleasure donating that razor. As you probably know, I recently ran across three near mint Toggles....originally owned by Ernest Hemingway(hard to believe eh?). These are the ultra rare five setting early versions, rather than the standard nine clicks.

I was gonna toss one of those in as the prize, but unfortunately the 24 hour redeeming period had not been activated by the winner. According the the contest rules, the razor goes back in the shaving locker. Oh crap!

Hehe, actually Joed hasn't gotten in touch with me yet..........probably because he's still stunned at his great luck. Oh well......sigh.

Hmmmmmm, I do have a late 40's superspeed in good shaving condition I could send out..sort of a consolation consolation prize.........heh. If anywone sees him, ask him to let me know in the next day if he'd like that.
Otherwise, I'll go to the third place weener.

Too bad about that Toggle......did I mention it came with the box.......and was a rare silver version.

Received my second prize

I got the SS that Martin offered up as second prize yesterday. It's in beautiful condition. Thanks again Martin for doing this. This forum is womderful and has a great bunch of people!
