Was looking into getting my second straight, was the highest bidder until the last second. Was sniped so bad. If it was any of you, good job
Tip. this is what I do. Place your highest bid on the review when you commit 2-3 seconds before bidding ends to cover anyone else's bid. If you get beat, ok, just means it sold for more than you're willing to pay. Your highest bid doesn't mean it'll be what you pay, it's for in case someone has also placed a high bid and you'll possibly beat it. I also never bid before hand because the price will go up.
Yeah I'm aware. But it was up with no bids until I bid with an hour left, so I thought no one else was looking. Mistake haha
That's happened to me more times than I care to remember. I've changed my tactics over the years. I'm more successful now by not bidding until in the final minute and placing a higher bid than I would've when I was trying to limit how high the bids would go bidding earlier in the auction.
same as i do.i put in a low bid just to have it on my bidding list.then in the last seconds place my big ending bid.
I *never* bid until the final few seconds. If I'm out-bid, then it wasn't meant to be; it was worth more to someone else than it was to me. So, I just wait for the next one to come along...and there's *always* a "next one".
I know...there's a nickel toggle with case that's giving me nightmares. I should really stay off the computer for a while.
